St Thomas Estate

Origin Projects approached us to create a brand identity, website and marketing collateral for St Thomas Estate. Despite being a new development, the station it sits on has been around since 1877, with a small chapel still residing right beside the homesites.

We wanted to channel the heritage of this land to build a brand that felt established and historic, while also feeling pioneering.

The wordmark we created was built from Grill Type’s GT Alpina typeface, also a nod to the heritage of mountain settlements. From there we built out a range of lockups that could be used interchangeably throughout the marketing to suit different purposes.

The colour palette was drawn from the landscape’s green pastures and dry rusty tussocks to round off a brand identity that feels truly part of the station’s history.
